I grew up a HUGE baseball fan. Would probably have been my dream career, to be an MLB player.
Sitting in a bar in Suburban Chicago watching the Cubs while my kid waits for his NAHL tryout to begin. The pitchers take so much time to throw that the announcers can't think of anything to say. 15 - 20 seconds of dead air.
I read it's nearly 4 minutes between balls put in play. Can you imagine if the puck only dropped every four minutes and immediately went out of play?
Did you happen to watch any of the college baseball regionals, super regionals and World Series? Fantastic baseball played by college kids that are college age.
