Regardless, Junior hockey a joke unless in the USHL, NAHL or NCDC. Good u16 or 18 teams are better than any other junior league in the US.
Somewhat true, although I'd argue that EHL is the best Tier III hockey in the country. Stepping Stone to Tier I / II and Junior A. Some of the local teams arter pretty good. Some not. It's much harder to go from U16 / U18 to high level juniors.
Premier also can serve as a transition, although the local offerings aren't great right now. Ridiculous that the BJB can win NCDC and have such a bad Premier team. They, and the Islanders, should be offering a development ladder, and they missing an opportunity to do that.
