05 changes. 06 only a couple wins for 2 teams. 07 is a mess also.
05 was awesome- had a falling out- it happens. 06 got behing the proverbial 8 ball by being hamstrunged into USA hockey rules- not officially being in the league until squirt minor- only playing x ice games until then..etc..etc... same goes for 07 group. Both 06 and 07 have excellent coaches at the elite level and will eventuall have big time teams. Rome wasn't built in a day.
My son plays against the 06 elite team. Their record is still terrible but I will admit that their progress over this season has been remarkable. They have improved significantly since the beginning of the season. If they continue to get better at this pace they probably will be a very solid team by 2017/18 season...
The organizational philosophy is deeply rooted in player development. Look at the records of their older teams now (minus 2002) and see how they've improved over the years. Look at the kids who were invited to the us development camps. Hockey is a long haul. Wins at mites, squirts and even pee wees, don't matter.
Wiz 06 team is very good, despite their record. Well coached group of kids- ad 2 or 3 more, and they will be a top team in the e9 soon enough.
