The impetus behind the posting is not about you validating Gladwells research. It's obviously about you searching for comfort and justification for your son not making the list.

My son is older and is a very late December player who has multiple standing offers in Tier I Jr. Hockey. It was just the lumps he took early on to get there when he was always playing up a year basically. But hey, thanks for worrying about my kid. It's very kind of you.

I'm sure he does have many invites to combines and camps.
