Does anyone know what the deal is with the Premeir team? We did not go to tryouts because we haerd team was set but we just got a call saying thers a spot available but need to know asap or we lose it. Also where is this team playing? Our son is not EHF elite caliber but better than town A. thanks.
Go do it. run from town hockey. life is too short. don't waste it. call them. say yes.
split season still team is an option for $1750 now
Just called over there. The Premier team is offering a half season tournament team only. The Elite and bottom team are both full season.
And they will play the old bait and switch yet again.
The 02 premeir team is slowly losing players.. What gives? Is it the big bucks or travel committment. Lots of good hockey right here.
A sucker is born every minute!
For one dollar I'll guess your weight, your height, or your sex.
So what happened to his super team???
They are running one by one to other teams before they are full backstabbing each other cause spots are dwindling.
Why did AB bail and where is it going?
so what is the deal here? sounds like their "premier" team is going to be a joke....
The team made it to the finals in their tournament. No reason to think it will be much different next year.
in a crap league. MPDHL is not any good until U16 Tier 1 and its still not Mass Selects which is the top leauge. Walpole Express is now and always has been irrelevant.
Can anyone shed any light on this? Is there going to be a 02 Express Tournament team in the fall/winter? Know there is one in the Spring.
RB tried but not enough interest. Team will play in the MPDHL premier otherwise known as town A
don't be a fool! you will to pay 3000- more to have a label on your kid as premier, really? You said he is not elite caliber, but RB is offering premier????? Wake up, B has lost so many players from last season because the league is a joke. Its all about the money there, and few other places. Just do your homework, then ask your kid where he wants to play, and how much commitment/travel he wants to do. Be smart play town, spend the 3000- on private lessons for skills and let your kid earn his spot on real hockey. Stay clear of any "Elite/AAA" org. that put teams in Yankee, SS, or MPDHL, thats what town teams play in but for 3000-less. Also, playing town doesn't mean you have to play for your town team, many city/town teams have room for a few out of towners
Generally speaking would think it is good to get foot in the door in the u14 premier div of mpdhl. Chance to play National Bound Tournament, good prep for HS, competitive teams in this division.
If such a great opportunity why are they having trouble putting the team together?
Duh. Its a hs decision year. Full season, half season or prep. Mom. Go to bed. Just pay my tuition. Cha-Ching!!!!!!!!!!!
fron RB. No full season team at Premier level. It will be half season than exhibition games wit kids from lower teams filling out the roster. Not the end of the world. Next?
We signed up for premier team. Just hearing of this. Thought it was full season?
Better talk to RB pronto. Not enough full season players comitted. He's waiting for end of EHF tryouts this week to see if the leftovers can fill his roster otherwise no go.
Saw 2 of his players at SSK tryout last night. Both got offers today from Tier 1 coach. There won't be a full season squad unfortunately.
Another one that committed bailing....
Man, lots of folks trying really hard to make somebody look bad in this thread.
The 02 Express team was ranked 7th in Massachusetts by MYH. Ahead of most EHF teams. Right in between the Breakers and Vipers who were 2nd and 3rd in EHF Tier 1.
How did the NH Monarchs do against elite fed teams and VJW Elite. Lost most but some were competitive. Tier 1 fed is nothing special. My guess is monarchs smash tier 1 fed teams.
The Express also were lucky that they didn't have to play the Outlaws Black or Hurricanes this past season. They most likely would have ended up behind both of those teams.
no, the org. did it all on their own. Call a spade a spade son
Barletta worked the parity schedule so he wouldn't have to play the Monarchs, Outlaws or Hurricanes as he knew he wouldn't qualify. He then voted to have less teams in the top division so he could try and win it. Premier division better than Tier 1 Fed Black and BHL.
Wrong. They played the outlaws, the good one, twice in the parity round and beat them both times, once on the Outlaw's own rink.
