Give it a rest blue, green and now orange Kool-Aid drinkers. Most overrated program you can imagine. There are a lot of crappy ones out there but a total scam for the money. Go watch a knights or a giant practice. Either a crony daddy friend of the Lovell's or JL sitting off to the side blowing a whistle running open line drills for an hour. Every year the knights end up with rejects from other programs. No one on one instruction. Look at the quality of the players and the wins and losses. Limited developing going on there. They produced strong 02'2 at BA because of his son. Every other birthyear in everyone of his programs is weak Massive turn over every year. Week league. Even in his older levels those kids still have to go to the Kings or Islanders or junior Bruins to play juniors to develop to play in college. Sorry folks but that is the truth.

2 teams on life support to the north and the south, 05 Caps and 05 Kings. Sure to be a lot of kids coming over at the 05 level due to current implosion status.

I thought the 05 Kings were good? No?

Last night resulted in several players signing that were looking for a different direction and better skills.

I heard that Joe Lovell is coaching the 05 Giants.

Does anyone know the status of the 04 and 05 teams? I heard some of the players were moved to the LK's.

The 07 team looked very competitive today with full team, too. Go GIANTS!

Agreed but it looks like the saints are revived and players are migrating back.
Saints now have convenient locations and good numbers.

When it is up and running, what's going to be more convenient that right off of I-95 with state of the art facilities and with some of the best skills around?

The supplemental tryout this week is a but if a concern. Hopefully, all of the teams get a full complement of players.

The Giants will be making an impact in summer tournaments. Here we go!

Within a couple of seasons, this organization will be another Lovell success story like BA, AI, and LK.

With the facilities it might be their flagship program...wouldn't doubt it for a second.

Supposedly all skills for 95's and LK's will be moved there by 2017.

It's only early April but don't be surprised if the rinks are ready to go in September. The pool, fields, and hotel are not a concern.

They're bringing in an NAHL team, I'm pretty sure that league will have it ready.

The naysayers will be surprised when this organization hits its stride in a couple of seasons.

Might be sooner than that for a few of the teams....

I am betting that they are still looking for capable coaches, if they cant find one they will coach, and you cant go wrong with that.

We didn't have a coach until the week before season started last year and JL did one practice a week that coach couldn't make Don't sweat it. Plenty of time and J or T is one hell of a backup plan !

The teams definitely will be ready for September, not sure about the rinks.

I'm sure if there is a NAHL team playing there this fall it will be ready for the kiddies.

The Lovell's are throwing a tremendous effort behind having selected the right coaches and skills instructors. It's reminiscent of the Boston Advantage when they first started.

Word is the Lovell boys have placed a call into Bruce Boudreau to take over two of the teams.

Why would they settle for him?

Getting to big, to fast. All they are doing is moving cattle now. Reminds me of AAU sports but a little more expensive. Their are better options out there.

You wont know if there are until these current kids get past high school. The BA boys have placed a lot of kids. All I can say is 'good job.'

The 05 and 06 teams have some challenges to overcome, but, they'll be all right.

Do they have an 07 team this season?

Yes, they do and it will be competitive right out of the gate. Great coach too in JB.

Some came from EHF elite teams, some came from E9 teams, some came from EHF Tier 1 teams, some came from the BHL, and, yes, some came from town teams. No different than any other team in New England.

Giants having a half or full season u14 team?

No, but JL will do just fine, thanks.

They probably never will, just like LK, BA and AI. Why do you need the teams posted ? If you are in then you know it. What does a roster on a website accomplish ?

Hey, don't let the facts get in the way of your unsubstantiated conclusions. First, a question was asked, where is the complaint? Secondly, they most certainly did post the rosters last season and have removed them in anticipation of next season except for AI which still has some teams' rosters up. Names on a website accomplish letting everyone know who is on the roster. There are a myriad of reasons why someone may want to know who is playing on what team. Who asked or even mentioned about names on jerseys?

The whole organization could use one responsible, organized adult to run the non-hockey operations. But hey, why change now? It's been like this for almost 10 years.

Let's hope you're not involved in youth hockey for the sake of the kids!

HG is a great coach too, does a lot with the AAA teams. He coached a lot of those kids that played on the Knights AAA team last year

Giants only have one team at the 05 level, which doesn't even have a full roster yet. I was only saying that HG coached alot of those Giants kids because they played on the Knights AAA team where he was teh coach.

and the reason it is elite is because they only have one team, That is not an "elite" team.

I hope that you are right b/c HG is a great coach, but, rumor has it that he is strictly doing skills and not coaching the Giants.

Great article about the NAHL's Northeast Generals coming to NESV yesterday. Wonder what impact this will have on the rinks getting done on schedule and overall for the Giants?

No one with kids in hockey is unemployed....it's too freaking expensive!

How's the rink coming along?

Two full walls are up....September might be a lofty goal though, hopefully, it'll get done prior to the season.

Hardest part in getting a new rink in is getting the plumbing laid for the ice sheet and the floor and foundation poured. If this is done, the rest will likely go pretty quick. So it could be done by September, barring any unforeseen issues.
