What does a rink take from start to finish? 6-8 weeks? Foundation and a crap steel building...not like its a lot of finish work.
Yeah - bang some stuff and then your done.
You got it, a week max for foudation work, two weeks to enclose it and a few weeks to fill it and a couple for finish & paint. Most people see a big building and think it takes so long because, well it looks so big but really its not a such a big deal.
Pepsi in the soda fountain? I'm out.
I'm going to book my kids May 7 skating birthday party now. Thanks
I'll bring my tools so I have them! We can talk partnership in the morning.
You got paint work for me? What about taping??
There you go, NAHL is moving a team there....I think it will be ready by next season!!!
How do you figure they generate revenue?
Owners pockets, ticket sales, maybe the league kicks in..
Maybe it's a loss leader for the owners to participate in other leagues or ventures. Sponsorship, tickets (I agree it will be hard to fill the seats 30 nights a year). But 22 teams are doing it in the NAHL and another 17 in the USHL.
I'll go to the games just to support it!
Me too, Once, maybe twice and then I will go back to my life. These teams work in rural areas because they are typically the only game in town.
