95 Giants join Boston Hockey League and Elite 9 Hockey

Lovell Hockey’s newest club to compete against New England’s top teams
Attleboro MA - The Elite 9 Hockey League (E9HL) and Boston Hockey League (BHL) have announced that the 95 Giants Hockey Club will be joining the league that features the top teams in New England. The 95 Giants, skating out of the New England Sports Village will begin play during the 2016-17 season and will field teams from mites to bantams.

"This is an exciting time for Lovell Hockey and our newest team the 95 Giants” said Tim Lovell, President of Lovell Hockey. “We are thrilled to be able to bring a high level of skills and instruction to the Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island area and have our club skate out of a state of the art facility against the best competition.”

“It is great to have this new team join the league,” said John Gilmartin, founding member of the E9HL and BHL. “Lovell Hockey has a rich history in Massachusetts and in our league and we welcome their newest team and look forward to competing against them this season.”

The 95 Giants are the newest team in the Lovell Hockey family joining the Boston Advantage, Advantage Ice, and Lovell Knights. The 95 Giants will make their home at The Rinks at the New England Sports Village located in Attleboro, Massachusetts. The New England Sports Village is a 53 million dollar project that contains two NHL-sized rinks and a studio rink in the initial phase. The Village includes a 150-room hotel, a 50-meter pool, an indoor turf field house and two outdoor turf fields.

“We are happy to welcome the 95 Giants Hockey Club as the premier elite hockey program at the NESV,” said Joe Fitzpatrick developer of the New England Sports Village. “Tim and Joe Lovell, along with their incredible staff bring the very best in hockey instruction and development. They are simply unparalleled in their field and we couldn’t be happier to have them.”

“We are extremely excited to be joining the E9 and BHL. We are looking forward to competing in the parity tournament this fall and can’t wait for the completion of the rinks in September.” stated Lovell.

Re: 95 Giants join Boston Hockey League and Elite 9 Hockey

Just like the EHF teams playing Top Gun and Jr. Falcons to load up their stats. Have another drink, loser.

Right and EHF is superior to E9. Please don't make yourself look like a fool.

Re: 95 Giants join Boston Hockey League and Elite 9 Hockey

Hey, this is America! Lovell has a right to create a legal business and make money. Demand for private youth hockey programs has never been stronger.

As for the idea that the E9 is better than the EHF Elite, let's all admit that's laughable. It's not even close - and the "Elite" 9 parents will complain, but you can debate whether the EHF Tier 1 Black is just as good as the E9.

Re: 95 Giants join Boston Hockey League and Elite 9 Hockey

Now you are really drinkng the kool aid, Tier 1 black is a joke with there 13 team divisions, maybe one or two teams could compete in the E9, so stop it. I will admit that most top teams at the EHF are better than E9 but the black division is a joke. The only two elite programs in New England are E9 and EHF, Tier one is just town level at best.

I will concede E9 is better than EHF Tier 1 Black overall - but it's closer than you want to believe, compadre! In most years, the top 4 or 5 EHF Black teams could play in the E9, with some of the best Black teams being near the top in the E9.

Agreed and the top 5 E9 teams could easily compete in the EHF Elite, - much better than those bottom dregs (Jr Falcons, Top Gun, Terriers, etc, please) - given the top 2 or 3 EHF Elite teams at each age are the best. But I would put most the VJW E9 teams up there with those Top 2 or 3

Re: 95 Giants join Boston Hockey League and Elite 9 Hockey

both 95 Giants and Lovell Knights are still scrambling for tuitions...I mean players..
