Blue Chip 05 team won the Shamrock and Blue Chip Tournament. Made it to the finals and lost in the Toronto Top Tier Tourney. First two tourneys were more local with decent competition but the Top Tier was a legit tourney with most of the top 05 kids from Canada and US competing. Next up is the Show in MN at the end of June and team is loaded with many of the best kids from MA (not all) but a lot. Hope that answers your question.
How are the Boston Jr. Whalers, All Pro Hockey, Tropics, and Blue Chips Selects doing in summer tournaments?
Some are doing well because they are actually tournament teams. Some are dsoing awful because they are summer tournament teams taking whomever and s9me are teams that are getting together for the first time that are going to play together next season.
So its like typical summer/spring hockey and it means nothing...
It means something when the kids get older because many coaches / scouts don't have the time to take in games during the season. Also they get to see kids that play public / C.C. hockey play against the prep & junior kids.
I love the summer tournaments for Midgets. All of these hyped kids and the NHL prodigy that think they're so special getting occasionally schooled by the public school kid that just plays for the fun of it. Priceless stuff.

Not sure about "ALL" of these hyped kids because I watched one 13 year old hyped kid dominate a U16 tourney this weekend !
