ECEL U18 / U16 tourney this weekend in Hingham, UMass Boston and BU. Teams from across the country and Canada coming in. You will not see better hockey in the area this weekend than some of these games. Bring the kids, this is the level they should want to be playing at when they come out the other side.

Across the country and Canada? Try watching Honey Baked sometime.
Try learning to read and comprehend. I didn't say the very best teams from across the country. Some - not all - of the teams coming in are very good, far superior to the local product. Which is what the OP said he wanted to go see.

And unlike your duster, I've watched Honey Baked and Little Caesars and Belle Tire and Victory Honda and Colorado Thunderbirds while also watching my kid play. I'll get to see some of them this year, too. You won't, unless you want to travel to the midwest.

See them quite a bit , yes it is great hockey , my kid is in Detroit right now playing some of the better teams in the country . I believe he answered the OP pretty good , and he is correct , younger kids should watch some of these games . It's good for them .

Re: Biggest Weekend Tilt ???

2008, that's Mite Major for all you parents with older kids. 8:50 Saturday morning at NESC the Minuteman Sparks (4-0-0) square off against Team Boston (4-0-1). The immovable object against the irresistible force. Top players in New England on the ice, a few are just getting comfortable skating backwards.
