Who cares. As long as your kid is playing good hockey what does it matter what anyone else's kids is doing or what level their parents say they are in. Parents who have kids who play on the best teams in the best leagues never talk about their kids hockey. I find the kids don't either. When your really good you don't need to talk or brag about it and certainly don't care what others say or do. If you kid us not that good take skating lessons and try out for the best teams closest to your house. Easy! Stop worrying so much about. I hope you all spend this much time worrying about your kids integrity and academics as you about what hockey team they are on.
So according to this Town 'A' hockey is the 'lowest level of competitive hockey' and 'B' & 'C' is recreational?
Don't tell that to my kid, he is one of the original "Town Hockey All-Stars!"
Why does mass hockey allow town A teams to compete for a tier 2 championship? The allow B teams compete for tier 3 and beyond. The rating system in mass is stupid at all levels. Like people have said millions of times on these boards, focus on getting a good coach for your kid, worry less about wins and rankings.
