Re: Hanifin & TL

I agree. My oldest boy started with TL years ago and got personal attention. Easily the best thing that happened to him for hockey development. I have heard the whispers about the program getting spread thin but walking into the rink it seems they still keep the kids moving pretty well.

Re: Hanifin & TL

So, wait, instead of talking about the entirety of the message in the video and how all kids should watch and learn what it takes to be great, your take on the entire 21 minutes was about TL?

This guy really does dispense blue Kool-aid, doesn't he?

News flash to the disciples: TL may be in the top 10% of his profession, but that still means there are a ton of people that are as good or better. There isn't anything he is doing that is magical.

And to the detractors: He isn't evil, or corrupt, or unethical - at least not that I've been able to discern.

He's just a guy, making a living at hockey. Apparently, a bit more polarizing than most.

Re: Hanifin & TL

I think it was in response to a discussion here a few weeks ago that someone posted something like "Hanifin played 7 games for BA and couldn't pick TL out of a police line-up" or something like that.

Re: Hanifin & TL

Great video. Any objective human would watch it and understand that he was developed by playing Kings, St. Sebs, NDT and Boston College. He is now honing his skill with TL, probably once a week over the summer, and based on this promo video for free now!

Nowhere in that video does it talk about him playing BA growing up and TL developing him in his formative years. Sorry, that is just an objective view. Not saying TL isn't good just saying he was not part of his pack.

To put the previous thread to bed, developed by EHF, then prep, D1 now NHL. Helped by TL now.

PS-that walk the blue line and shoot drill with some cutting edge stuff!

Re: Hanifin & TL

From PW on NH played for VJW and they had a wagon. They had Colin White, Casey Fitzgerald and Cam Askew among others. They had unlimited resources due to a grandparent on the team at VJW. Ton of ice and skill development by Real hockey people. This is where they flourished and seperation themselves from the pack. Period

Re: Hanifin & TL

Why no mention of VJW then?

Re: Hanifin & TL

Because they were not part of his development. Plain and simple.

did i miss it, because i didn't think NH talked about his development at all in the video. stop being idiots about it.

Re: Hanifin & TL

And these days he's working with AN for his skating, not TL.

Re: Hanifin & TL

and you know that how?

Re: Hanifin & TL

Since they indicated that they were at the NESV and that was not accurate, I don't believe anything in that video. Not even sure that was the same NH that plays in the NHL !

Re: Hanifin & TL

Re: Hanifin & TL

I believe he does. He's also tied to Bauer and lots of high end players as personal clients.

Re: Hanifin & TL

Yeah the Hanifan piece for NEHJ was just a puff piece for TL. he pays to be on each week. It's called advertising.
