Common denominator on the bench for two craps teams causing a lot of rumors of movement to come
not sure who you think is the common denominator but WN is gone from the Bandits and the tier 1 Breakers coaches have good reputations and team is at the top for the black so no crap team there
I think that poster was referring to the capitals as the craps. That's how I understood it

Defensive much coach? Poster was definitely talking about the Crapitals! If the rumors are true about which current elite kids coming over then new Bandits team is in big trouble and not because of the coaches or even the kids. All the elite kids supposedly heading over there bounce from team to team because the parents believe their kids are better than everyone else and whatever team they happen to be on aint good enough. Always getting screwed and everything is always everyone else's fault. Every elite kid rumored to be heading that way has poison parents - good luck with putting them all on the same team if the rumors are true. I guarantee the parents from the teams they are currently on will be happy to learn they are heading to BIA (where they truly belong anyway). Truth is though, half of them will probably bail on the Bandits in the 11th hour anyway. The Breakers coaches would be better off moving their entire Tier 1 team and getting killed all year than taking that group and getting killed anyway.

Really? Because I have heard of three elite kids moving over and they are good players with good parents. They may have bounced around a bit but it was no fault of theirs. Just give them a chance and see what happens.

Grass is always greener right. Every team and at every age group is one bad loss, one disgruntled parent away from falling apart. Its the nature of this beast we call youth hockey. Do what's best for your kid and no matter what else happens you cant lose.

Trouble is, most parents aren't equipped to figure out what's best for their kid. It makes the whole system extremely inefficient, as otherwise solid teams that have the potential to develop end up dissolving because of parent egos and, quite frankly, childish behavior by adults.

Caps will take a big hit at every level from the Giants hate to say it but it will happen. Only thing helping caps is the EHF which in my opinion is better then e9.

I'm on my second kid going through an E9 program, and one of his coaches said something recently that struck me as true. He said that the top 1 or 2 true elite teams at each age level are in the EHF, the top E9 teams can compete with the programs below them and the teams at the bottom of each league all suck.
I think he hit the nail on the head. All the debate between leagues and movement back and forth seems silly to me. Find a program close to you (preferably, in either league if that is important to you) with a great coach (much more important) and be happy about that.

Most normal people understand this. It's the EHF parents with kids on the weaker teams that make the most noise about how good their player is, and how much he is developing, because he gets to skate on the same ice with one of those top two teams 4x per year. At that level, either league will do.
Even if you win all the games, you all are still one of the most laughable teams. Caps and TG continue to be the car wreck you have to watch. Feel bad for all those kids that have deal with all the nonsense. So you won a game - so what! Bwhahaha bwhahaha bwhahaha

It's called a TRAIN wreck and you neee to get a life if you are this wrapped up in youth hockey
Cap bashing gets very quiet when caps are winning and playing well. Payback is a ******
Bahaha. I'm sure Payback will be great if and when they actually play well. What do you call playing well?
A)Winning a tier 1 tournament
B) beating top gun
C) beating the bandits

Absolutely. It's already happening. Kids have been at practice for the past month.
06 Breakers. Both levels.
Tier 1 coaches moving to Bandits elite, taking players from both levels
Elite coach talking to tier 1 players
T1 players playing in elite/players from both levels going to Bandits equals a recipe for disaster for the Breakers
05 kings are a lot worse than people realize. Coach is under pressure from ownership to turn the team around and recruiting under every rock he can find.

So then isn't he just doing what every coach out there is supposed to do?
hello new Bandits, same as the old (basement) Bandits
Give them a chance. New guy in front office certainly seems more involved with youth levels than TS ever was. Getting rid of some coaches that have been issues. And let's not forget, Bandits will finally be rid of WN. Putting an elite team in at 06 is a start. Don't get me wrong...probably will finish at or near the bottom but you have to start somewhere. It's all a step in the right direction
kinda hard to when the poster notes that they are building the team from the tier 1 Breakers. A bunch of those kids were 06 Bandits before until the team folded last year and you know what there record was

It all depends on how competitive they can be in the first year. If they spend the season getting beat like a rug they will not be able to recruit the following year. If they struggle early and finish strong and get anywhere near the middle of the pack they have a shot. If they finish last everyone tortured their kid for the sake of running this experiment for a second time. If they finish strong they gambled with their kids' happiness and confidence in order to help the Bandits organization. Seems like an insane move on the personal level to me but it would be awesome for the league if the Bandits can become a good reputable program. I hope it works and it seems like you guys have a few things going for you. It is a long shot though...
