Another assistant from old Bandits team went to Breakers. He is the one coming back with Breakers tier 1 HC to start elite team back up at Bandits.
RK is still at LKs which is why his name was brought into it it since some wise guy decided to put LK for Bandits early look skate

How many players are leaving for BB?


There were several Knights at the rink tonight for the skate. I think it's safe to say that if you think kids aren't leaving then yours may be the only one staying. All the 07 Knights from last years team are loving it and doing well for there first year in the EHF. I don't see any reason why the 06s won't have fun and be competitive as well and for the ones that may not be ready for elite there is AAA as well.

Hopefully they are having fun. Doing well? That's another story. 4 wins? 5 wins? I think that is a few more than last year though and they are having fun


I'm sure they will do as well if not better then at the IcePlex. Think before you post numb nuts!

There a few teams in 06 elite that have 4 or 5 wins. Hopefully they develop and get stronger through the season even if they have a tough start.

Last season the 07 Knights left and went to Bandits, this season the new 07 Knights had to play bc they couldn't draw players to Raynham.

Now we have the 06 Knights moving over to Bandits so it seems like the new 06 Knights will be out of Attleboro or Hingham.

Not sure it's as high as 7-8 if you are referring specifically to LK players. However, it's clear that Parents need to recognize that both programs.....actually, let's add BSB (specifically Elite)are all going to be challenged this year

Kids from LK going to BB were other originally BSBs couple of years ago. Tier 1 BSB coach bringing a couple BSB from tier 1. Haven't heard anything about any original Bandits making the Elite team at the Bandits. A Caps, a King scattered in and that makes for a small roster. But who knows what tryouts will bring. Maybe this will work out for them. You can't expect to have a highly competitive team to start but you have to start somewhere. The longer the Bandits wait to get a team in, the more that division is doomed

Lol. RK did not get the boot from BIA and there is only one person that would post such a thing. Other poster is correct. The majority of the kids were looking or skating as alternates on other teams once the coach showed his real colors. Let's be more positive here now. Seems like the wicked with is dead and everyone can celebrate. Let's hope the Bsndits stand by that like they are saying and let's hope the new coaches coming in can build this team up again. Seems like the new coaches have a good reputation


Lol, he was removed from coaching and door opening, that is true. Hence the move to Raynham. Call it whatever you want and blame whoever you want but it did happen. Where did he learn to skate again? SMH

This post is hysterical. No, the move to Raynham was not because anyone was removed from BIA. The move was for the same reason the equivalent of two teams of players moved to various organizations the following year. Common sense tells you there is an issue when only 5-6 kids stick around at an age group that started the season with AA, tier 1, and elite teams . There was one person who BE gave full power to make all decisions at that age group and that one reason is why everyone left

Parents this is club hockey. There will always be kids coming and going each year. It's just the nature of the beast. We realize some of you are in a difficult position and cannot leave bc there would be no takers or you have another child in the organization so your stuck. Check please!
Okay...cool - So are you saying that there are a bunch of us that want to go to the Bandits but just can't or that a bunch of us are stuck at the Bandits and can't get out? Either one is fine, just looking for clarity so I can understand your wisdom.

Early LooK tryouts are not unique to Bandits, the Islanders do the same thing. At least they are being up front about it, everyone else brings in even EHF kids for "practices" before practices begin. Don't see what the LK folks are worried about, they have the huge advantage of holding their full tryouts and being able to sign kids well before the Bandits can.

I don't get the impression there is much concern coming from anyone about anything other than the fact that they are not being upfront at all. Reading over the posts it seems to have rubbed people the wrong way that the Bandits were pretending to be another org - in other words being the opposite of up front. I think the fact that it was LK is an insignificant detail, any org would be pi**ed if any other org tried to entice kids to tryouts by pretending to be them. Any parent would be pi**ed if they got tricked into attending a tryout.

yes, because they are simpletons. It is either a Knights hater due to them being cut last season and having to go to bandits and now they are poaching the 06 LK team for players, or at least trying to.

Or it is a bitter LK parent from this season, my guess is probably a parent that was removed from the bench and assistant coaching duties, or a parent whose kid was kicked out of LK organization this year and forced to Bandits.

I won't even begin to venture a guess on who the poster is but really? You'd be pi$$ed if you got tricked into going to tryouts? Dude, unless this is your first rodeo, you register on the clubs website. Tryout info is always clearly listed there, LK and Bandits are in two different leagues that hold tryouts on different weeks. If you're smart enough to find the dboard, you won't be tricked if you're tricked, you have bigger issues to deal with

Good point! Another good point is that it is FREE it's not like you have to pay $100.00 to tryout at this early LooK. It's a good idea to go to these free skates when you can. Can't hurt checking it out. By the looks of it, it looks like this coach is only coaching 1 team which is a huge plus for the players.

The coach is only coaching 1 BANDITS team but one of these threads was bragging about him being a HS or juniors coach or something like that as if it had anything to do with coaching 10 year old kids. Please refrain from the "EHF" talk when referring to Bandits, because that is where the illusions of grandeur come in.

The EHF at 05 and 06 level is better, agreed

The Bandits at the 05 and 06 level are below town A never mind BHL or E9

ask any parent on any of those teams, coaches, owners, player development guy, zamboni driver etc....

those teams have kids that were playing Town B last year and bubble kids at that level, kids who could not make Town A teams, Elite teams at EHF or BHL teams and went to bandits as a last resort.

they were even asking kids who quit hockey at 8 to come back to fill roster spots at 06.

at 05, they took a bunch of 06's that would not make the elite 06 teams anywhere else !

The Bandits may be part of the FED, but at these levels, they should not even be in the same sentence.

This year will be better for the Bandits, and that started with getting rid of the elite team at both levels. amd then heavily recruiting outside of the program for kids to fill Tier 1 teams to be competitive because the elite kids are not even capable of that.
