Parents do not be fooled

This is the last week of tryouts. Make sure you know what team and league your child will be on and in. Lot of new teams and orgs out there watering things down. Remember owners just want your check. You have been warned.

And, make sure your child wears a coat, and a hat and boots when it's raining. Teach them to not talk to strangers. You have been warned.

Re: Parents do not be fooled

What OP is trying to warn you about is the tier 1 is so wide open orgs are just signing kids and lying what league they are going into.

Actually correct - with the new (cough, cough) "silver" division, the Fed has cemented itself as a joke.

Anyone who can't understand this by now is a f'n moron.

Re: Parents do not be fooled

i can confirm this, i was told one thing by an Islanders coach only to find out something different in regards to what Tier 1 league this team would be in...

It's not that hard to figure out. If you team tried out before the 20th you should know you aren't trying out for a tier 1 or Elite team and you must be new to the EHF to not know they are always held the same week which falls after playoffs

Re: Parents do not be fooled

You're fooling yourself if you think bringing your kid to tryouts will get him a spot on an elite team. Those teams are hand-picked and established well before.
