You just finish out the year and reevaluate where you want the kid to try out next year, snitches get stitches to by the way.
How’s the coach? If he’s good, you put up with it.
You didn't know or see the coaches kid at tryouts? You scumbag! The guy coaches your kid who most likely is just a tiny bit behind your kid and you come on here and make a comment like that. Looooooser
Wow? Touch a nerve, coach?
Truth is, if the coach is a beloved son of the organization then the kid ain't getting going anywhere.
Welcome to America! Where politics are alive and well!
Most coaches have no shame. Especially the ones still coaching their kid after pee wees. How about this daddy coach, have your bender go see if he can make a team without your involvement.
Its extremely prevalent here in Mass. Walked away from an E9 team because of this nonesense.
Find another team,
Coaching and development are important. If the coach is not doing neither time to move. But you need to ask yourself is your son having fun. If he is not move on, but if he loves the coach and the team but you have the problem with the coaches and his kid suck it up until the end of the season.
What’s up with a coach that lets his son wear different color helmet, gloves and pants than the rest of the team? And his kid is best skater on team.
It’s about teaching teamwork coach.
All comes out in the wash. Kid has to stand on his own at some point, regardless of who daddy is.
That being said, it can take much longer than one would think.
Imagine how it is when the coaches and their kids are the downfall of a team!
You love sack!
As owner said to me "he is a good coach and you can hide 1 kid through Pee wees". If the team is winning and other kids are coming to the team they are happy to keep a kid and sometimes two.... at the end of the day at those ages they are so young and most realize it does not really matter... That said, it is tough to watch and is the elephant in the room which is not great for the team moral and the poor kid as everyone knows it.
