Forget eating 3 day old hot dogs and cardboard pizzer. What are some of the better nearby food joints that offer non-poors type foods?

My go to is Pilgrim Rink Burton's at Derby Street

Nice merlot and an order of Steak Frites while Little Johnny is tearing-up the B rink. Maybe a second glass on a good night.
Ugh. Mediocre beef and even worse service. Now I know why Olive Garden is the #1 restaurant in some towns on Trip Advisor.

If you're hellbent on being in the mall, go to Legal C Bar. Tell Angel at the bar I said hi.

But, if you want a good meal, go to Red Oak Tavern about two miles the other way up Derby Street. Get the burger with the fried egg.

You name a rink I'll tell you where the best places are. :)

Pilgrim is easy. Lots of good choices. Give me Raynham IcePlex.
Good one! Great American Pub has good tap beers, food isn't bad. But I usually go to Taunton, try Home Plate - sports bar with locals but the food is above average for the fare, or La Familia.

Keep it going, Bridgewater and The Bog

Bridgewater means a trip to Emma's for a few cold beers, solid bar pizza good burgers etc. Right of Rt24 Always crowded.
College town, so not a whole lot going on in the fine dining realm. I usually go Barrett's Ale House, but there's an excellent coffee shop, The Better Bean, that has really good sandwiches as well.

For breakfast there is Persys at rt 18 and 44, you can't be in a rush though.
Barretts has good beer

This Non-Rink Food Guy has it nailed. I tried a couple of the places he suggested, they were awesome! Would never have found them on my own.

At Warrior Rink in Allston? Head to Buff's Pub for the best wings in Boston. Cash only.
