Re: Losing all the time

Losing is ok but all the time is not fun.. When kids don't have fun they at times quit. Mom and dad will have no choice when Joey says I don't like hockey any more and I want to play Lax or some other sport.

Re: Losing all the time

Stupid post. Obviously everyone wants to be on the winning team. Unfortunately teams only have 15 players. Don’t stereotype every team, because you have no idea what their individual situation is.

Re: Losing all the time

"Hey kid, don't worry about winning and having fun, it's all about the development."

Re: Losing all the time

Losing sucks. Getting blown out however is when you have to worry. Your team might be tiered incorrectly, your coach might be packing it in, the talent on your roster might not have any chemistry. Who knows. Either way, talk with your wallet. If your kid is miserable with his current situation then leave at the end of the season. Food for thought however, sometimes you land on a winning team with a miserable coach or sketchy parents. You will rarely find the perfect situation.

Re: Losing all the time

would you rather have your kid be 3rd/4th line with limited ice time for a winning team or 1st/2nd for a team that struggles?

Not a problem I have to worry about. My kid is a stud on any team he plays for.

Re: Losing all the time

Remind me how long does the average Brick team stay together as a unit?
