Re: Which is better????

08 vjw elite played in the Rosato tournament in the 07 division. 08 vjw beat 08 tg elite 7-1. They lost to the tg 07t1 team. Had they played in the 08 division they would have cleaned up with no challenge. They played against my 07 in another tournament after Thanksgiving and did well. I think they often play in the 07 t1 division

Re: Which is better????

So they still lost to 07 tier 1 teams? I thought they were suppose to be the cream of the crop of the e9. Again, e9 is like the Valley

That would make most of the ehf elite= to the valley. Well said.

Re: Which is better????

08’ Vjw got smoked by jr eagles and mid fairfield

08’ Vjw got smoked by jr eagles and mid fairfield
Along with 8/10s of the 08 ehf elite. Ehf elite is 2 or 3 teams strong. The rest is valley all stars.

Re: Which is better????

You might want to check out the girls tier 1 AAA teams and leagues

Re: Which is better????

The only ones who think there is a glaring differ nice between the EHF and E9 are the crazy EHF Tier 1 Parent’s that actually think their kid is pretty good. You know the ones. Some of you saw them this week you know the Parents screaming after a goal like their kid just won Olympic Gold in a Tier 1 tourney against white and town teams They don’t know any better. Think their kid is playing good hockey because it is EHF and they have never seen any other hockey.

The propoganda machine runs so hard most people think that T1 black is high level Hockey until they see it and think that T1 white is above town until they see it !

Go take a peek at some rinks and decide for yourself. Or talk with the parent of an actual top tier player. They will be honest. The only ones who can’t be honest are the T1 or low level elite team parents

Thanks E9 Dad who got the dose of reality this week that the gap between e9 and T1 Black is miniscule. Thoughts and Prayers.

I think the reality that was exposed was that the BHL American is a step above the T1 Black !

The reality is is that it doesn't matter. My kid was a try out recently that put this whole idiotic debate in perspective. The subject of what team he played for or what league he was in was never brought up. Nobody cares.

+1. A few years ago the EHF experimented with allowing the "Tier 1" teams (then called AAA) to play in to the elite division. It was abandoned after a few games because the games were so lopsided. T1 Black is just the same as BHL American, which is similar in level to the highest division of Valley. Being associated with EHF doesn't make those teams any better.

Boy the Pee9 flag wavers are out in full force this AM.
As a refresher—here is a list of league rankings for all to see:

1.Fed Elite
2a.FedBlack
2b.E9
3.Fed White
4.BHL
5a Valley
5b AHL

Now of course you may have slight variation based on age—however this is the standard

Happy new year to all

There goes my new year's resolution to not respond to idiotic trolls, but please take your "rankings" elsewhere so you and other EHF parents can salivate over them as if they're real. You're wasting everyone's time. You're either an idiot, a troll or just incredibly stupid. Don't really care which it is.

Tier 1 Black, white, silver, red, purple or pink - whatever they want to call it, is just Valley or BHL by a different name.

Re: Which is better????

The EHF Elite is hands down the best league in New England for youth hockey. The E9 is next but there is a massive talent drop off. Every year at every age group the E9 will have a team or two that could compete in the FED, but that's it.

You will also see the best players on those teams migrate to the FED at years end. There is an annual migration of talent that takes place from the E9 to the FED that is undeniable. Check back in March for more details.

January 1st is that start of 2 months of deceit and treachery. People already calling and talking. Let the games begin!!!
