Ehf doesnt care if there are 30 teams in silver. Two things arr certain both Boch teams will be silver and the following are most likely to join them phc north, phc east, springfield, and at least one of the islanders west teams after that a crapshoot probably cyclones. Monarchs will probably get in given bracket.

They were tied with a few other teams. Shamrocks will be upper middle of white next season.

Why limit any division to 10 teams? The elite divisions all have 11 teams per age group. Why stick to 10 in black when the 11th team (that played in the black championship 2weeks earlier) would provide better competition to teams in black instead of beating up the weaker teams in white. We know the parity structure is not perfect but use some common sense and look at the whole picture.

First off I agree with what you stated here. The 2018/19 White bracket should be the most competitive it's ever been. I do not think you will see teams like TG, MMF, Isles E destroy the other teams like they have in the past 2 years. If the Shams and Isles E roll through the division, the FED really needs to look at adding teams to the Black.

I do agree black would be better with the shamrocks in it but the auto bids are for the 1st and 2nd in the regular season not who made the finals. Their team changed and it showed in the parity round.

17/18 black white silver had 10 teams a piece , i assumed that was the format for divisions.

Shamrocks in White is nonsense. Their team didn't change that much, nobody beat them in parity - they have good D and an excellent goalie. Top 6 should be getting a pass from parity - give the bubble teams more of a chance to play head-to-head in parity.

Exactly. If this were the Vipers,IHC etc nobody would say they "deserved" a spot based on past performance.

Shamrocks got screwed. They’ve been a great team to play against for years. Just played for the Championship. And now in White? Cmon man.

Top Gun comes in as the 1 overall seed having never played in Black? Asinine. Skewed all the brackets. They only had 1 Black team in theirs. At best they should’ve been middle of the pack for standings sake. Maybe they will be that good. But you gotta earn it first, not just have it given to you.

The bottom 4 Black teams should battle the top 4 White in round robin parity. If you’ve had a solid season in Black you’ve earned the right to stay over a 40 game schedule and playoffs. Not just some singular weekend in April when to be quite honest most have had far more than enough hockey at that point.

No one beat the Shams in parity, you are correct! However, the Shams did not beat anyone is parity... Top 6 teams from Black?? I would leave it the way it is now but add that the White winner get's an auto bid into black.
