BJR/NSV Email

Can someone who received this apparent email that went out today to all the Boston Jr Rangers and North Shore Vipers players ensuring that they will be playing in Tewksbury next year please paste it in a reply here? I feel like there has been a ridiculous amount of unwanted drama around this rink for the last 6 months on this board with 1-2 people just trying to ruin the rink and program, and some hardcore defenders.

Now everything is just getting good and there is two potential deals that both allegedly happened and didn't happen, so if someone received this email can you please post it so we can all close the book on it?

We are excited to announce that when the Boston Junior Rangers and North Shore Vipers take the ice next season they will be playing in a refurbished environment at Breakaway Ice Center (BIC). This has been our home – and many of yours – since we launched the Rangers in 2008 and welcomed the Vipers into the fold the following year. In addition to striving to constantly improve our hockey development program, we are investing in the facility so that BIC is a rink you enjoy spending your time.

The improvements and repairs that we have already started or will soon after the season ends include:

Locker rooms: We are installing new heating systems and bathrooms for locker rooms 1-4.
Scoreboard: We completely renovated the scoreboard in rink 2 and will do the same in rink 1.
Lighting the rinks: We have installed new lights in rink 1 and will be doing the same in rink 2 this weekend.
Insulation: During the off-season we will be installing new insulation throughout the rinks, which will improve the climate and the look and feel of the facility.
Renovate Rink: We will remove and repair the surface of rink 2.
Additional aesthetic improvements: From fresh coats of paint to new banners, the rink will feel rejuvenated next season.
We wish all our teams good luck as they finish what has been a great season and we look forward to seeing you all at Rangers tryouts, set for March 4 - 13. Please be on the lookout for the Vipers tryout schedule, which will be released soon.

Thank you for being part of our Ranger and Viper family. We look forward to a bright future next season and beyond!

Re: BJR/NSV Email

Pledging to make ice and paint? lol

Re: BJR/NSV Email

You dummies better call your banks and sign up for purchase protection. Mess around and pay your tuitions in March, and end up driving your benders and benderettes to a pad-locked rink in August.

Re: BJR/NSV Email

God you’re pathetic

Re: BJR/NSV Email

The owners are staying and the Vipers and Rangers willl be back. Sadly the owners are a joke. Place is a total dump. The best thing about the programs were Ryan Blair and Seth Goodrich. Both quit. All the promises are garbage. The place is a dump. Locker rooms are gross, bathrooms are disgusting, the water bottle filler has been flashing red for a cleaning for months, ice is a disgrace, scoreboards broken, several games have no score keepers and refs frantically look for a parent to do it.

There was a massive exodus from the Rangers this year and Vipers will be the same.
