Not for nothing but your coach picked the right game to watch last night.

Our coach opted to watch Pats game vs coach the team tonight....nice effort guy...
Maybe you should say something to the coach instead of ******** about it on an anonymous board or are you scared your kid will get cut. Priorities people, parents should have them too.

Agreed.. If you are going to come to the dboard and talk s#!* about someone at least tell them to their face exactly like you put it out here. If not you're a coward.

Wait, your unpaid volunteer coach that has to put up with ****heads like you all season chose to watch the AFC championship game over watching your kid cough up the puck 15 times in 7 shifts. What a dick!

Re: Coach’s priorities

Indy paid coach who misses often because he coaches multiple teams

Smart move on his part.

Look at the big picture.

How often will he get to see Tom Brady play a Championship game for the super bowl again.

And how much affect did his presence not at one game make on your kids youth hockey career.

The answer is his presence or lack thereof made little difference, Now you can chime in about showing how important a team is and dedication and commitment yada yada yada.

If your kid doesn't understand that by 13 forget it, and if he did understand commitment and dedication he wouldn't be a AAA bantam !

Umm, I THINK I read you can now record shows to watch later. Not sure about that, though. Sounds complicated.

Relax Francis.
It is a pats playoff game. Your ****** off because you don;t like the coach, not that he skipped a game.

Re: Coach’s priorities

As a coach I say good for him. Did he have assistants at the game? I coach both my kids teams plus a middle school team. I actually got to watch the game on Sunday as we had games on Sunday morning. It was the second Pats game I got to watch this season. Would I have skipped a game or it? Prob not. Guess how much I get paid. Zero. Give the coach a break. Its a long season.

Total double standard. Let a 10 year old miss a practice for, say, Halloween and see what percent of coaches react negatively.

Irrelevant how much you are paid. By assuming a leadership position in youth sports, you're holding yourself out as a role model. Honor. Your. Commitments.

Re: Coach’s priorities

Correct. Sorry, no breaks because wanna be Bruce Cassidy wants to throw a few back.

Re: Coach’s priorities

Look on the bright side, I'm sure all of the roving scouts in attendance took into account that your players HC wasn't at the game and graded him up since there was an obvious lack of leadership and in game adjustments.

Re: Coach’s priorities

No Days off...No Days off....No Days Off....

No I get it. Like I said I would not miss the game but I understand if someone else wanted to. Maybe that is a double standard. And I get that its not about the lack of pay. Just saying its a long season. We do our best for the kids.
