Tired of coaches kids who shouldn\'t be on team. Parents (and players) don\'t want their kids on your kid\'s line.....except for the fact they will have longer shifts.
Enough, know when to step away.
Why don't you put your kid on a different team?? Oh here is a better answer. Why don't you coach your kid???? Mic drop
Not everyone is qualified to coach.
And, where's he going to go, most youth teams are run by Daddy Coaches, and the overwhelming majority are guilty of the same behaviors.
Sadly, it doesn't get any better. My oldest's coach from two years ago was busted for drug possession a couple of weeks after the season, which came as a surprise to no one, given his erratic behavior the entire season. They replaced him with...a coach that had been busted for drugs earlier in his coaching career.

If you or your kid wants more playing time, tell him to be the best one on the team. Score the most goals. Make the most plays. Make passes and be the best skater. Once that happens I'm sure your son will get more playing time than the coaches' kid. Until then, your kid is the same as everyone else on the team and the coach will go with who he's most comfortable with which is likely his kid.
