North/South schedule seems incomplete. They mentioned South teams coming up and North teams going down but looks like just the South teams are coming up. Looking at the 06 elite division, only 4 teams were put in the elite division. Some teams play 3 of the 4 in the south division and some only play 1. I wonder how the league decided who would play each other. From the outside looking in it looks like it was poorly planned. For instance, instead of having teams play each other 4 times, have teams play each other 3 times and then fill the gaps in with North/South games. The league would have flexibility to allow for north teams to go south. As it is there is no room in the schedule for the teams to go south. I know it's the inaugural season of this and there are going to be quite a few bumps in the road but hopefully the league will take note of what works and what doesn't. Curious to see how they do the Columbus day event and the playoffs.

So the south teams plays the elite teams? If so then that's a waste of ice because the 4 south teams in 06 division are not competitive with the elite teams with the exception of a couple elite teams.

The 09 division only has 3 teams from the South. And I don’t even think one of them should be playing elite teams. How did they choose the South teams. The best teams in that area aren’t even in the league. No LI Gulls, no Philly Jr Flyers, no North Jersey Avalanche or Mercer...instead a bunch of teams that will barely challenge the tier 1 teams up here.

Correct. Looked at a couple of age groups and for the 07 & 06 they are playing teir 1 black teams.
There was a parody tournament for the USPHL teams in March/April. It looks like the teams with the best records from that tournament are playing the FED Elite teams and the teams with the worst records are playing the Tier 1 Black teams. For all but a few of the USPHL teams, they will not compete with the FED Elite teams. Someone mentioned the LI Gulls, Little Flyers, North Jersey Avalanche . . . those are AYHL Teams and not in the USPHL.

Not sure what you are looking at but the rockets had the #1 team at the 09 level last year. And at 07 the rockets , pal islanders and CRJ are not bad teams. Likely will be middle of the pack

Were any of the three teams you mentioned in the USPHL or FED last year or join this year?
