Re: QYH

Go to Dot. Better price crazier parents.

Re: QYH

Father of five who has had kids in and out of the program for last 12 years. When we first started out the program was low in numbers and things were bleak. Then the coach from the high school team took over and it seemed the program was on the up and up. Now it may be at an all time low, upper management non existent. Positions being handed out to unqualified people because of “friendly relationships”. Interesting the only paid position goes unadvertised without any word of interviews. Typical nonprofit, friends giving friends positions they could never get otherwise. It’s like a mutiny, take out the only paid position and put the tennis guy there. Worked out well for him. Most parents incredibly frustrated over the lack of professionalism. It is being run by people who have no background in the gm. It needs more people involved for the right reasons. The existing board more resembles a team of people trying to dictate which team their kid ends up on, rather than righting and strengthening a program

Isn’t that every town program’s board.

Re: QYH

Looks like someone’s kid only made the B team as a second year. Pass the tissues.

It’s town hockey A/B, whatever same thing

Re: QYH

You could take the Q out of the subject line and put any letter in its place.... this is town hockey in Anywhere, USA

Re: QYH

Quincy teams know how to hit but not much else. From youth all the way to the high school teams they all play the same way. Works just ducky until they run into teams that hit back and can score. The person recommending Dorchester is right on. Much better program with cheaper cost and higher level of practice and skills.

Re: QYH

I especially love the new concept of 24 players on a team

Re: QYH

Who killed Town hockey? Well Town hockey actually committed suicide about 10-15 years ago. And now the ones in charge sit around asking why it isn't like the old days and where did everyone go?

Re: QYH

Maybe one of these?
