Re: EHF/RI

Who gives a crap , let RI play with themselves ...

Re: EHF/RI

After listening to the MassHockey call, the problem isn’t with PHC or RI teams specifically, but teams with a lot of RI based kids on it. So, yes, PHC teams are going to have problems building a roster, but some PHC teams may have half a roster of kids from Mass & CT. PHC is going to have use a lot of kids from Tier 1 to fill out Elite rosters.

Re: EHF/RI

How about one of the owners of phc (kd) who lives in mass but kid plays on 09 elite. Rut row

Re: EHF/RI

How about all the Hitmen rosters from mites to u18 beast those teams are mixed with multi state situations I cant see it working out for some of these orgs at all.

Re: EHF/RI

Or how about the hitmen playing at NESV now (attleboro, MA). RI teams or players can't play there. Whoops

Re: EHF/RI

Who said that RI orgs can’t play in Mass? MassHockey said it’s about where a kid lives. They didn’t say anything about where a team is based. PHC will be able to field a group of kids at each age level who do not live in RI.

Ok dumb dumb... So if PHC have 90% of kids live in RI and MA Hockey just stated you can't travel from RI to play in MASS Rinks. How does that work....

Wait so only the players who live in RI and are rostered on MA teams can't play....

Harvard here we come.. dumb!

OK Foo-foo146. Where does it say that PHC can't field a team in any Fed Elite division? Where? It doesn't. Mass Hockey didn't say it either. My kid's PHC team has six kids from MA/CT. So the number isn't always 90%. Yeah, there are a lot of RI kids on PHC teams, but that doesn't mean PHC can't find 13 kids between their Elite and Tier 1 teams from Mass/CT.

Re: EHF/RI

The travel restriction is in practice enforced by filling out a form in the state’s website. However this form is to be filled out by someone 18 and over, and you can put your legal dependent family member. Putting number of dependents is optional. If one adult comply with the travel order ( by testing negative and filling out the form) that person can drive a van take whole team with him/her. Isn’t this a loophole?

If you have an address listed with USA hockey for RI you will not be playing in MA, until the restriction is lifted. If you travel for a tournament to a high risk state the player/team will be sanctioned for 14 days upon return, or a negative test for all travelers.

This was covered when they dug into the electronic registrations. The state requires a covid-19 handler for every business and they will be monitoring this.

It just occurred to me that coaches will have harder time cheating roaster in parity games due to this pregame submission of the electric roster records.

Now we know what all the complaining is really about.

Not a big deal there are no difference makers in Rhode Island hockey anyways... so act accordingly...

Haha - how will they be handling this? No one is paying attention to the ban - despite all the D Board talk. You essentially have to self report. How would they catch you if you don’t? Go to Target in Attleboro and let me know how many RI plates you see??

According to last night's bobblehead convention they will be checking roster registrations. USA hockey rosters are fairly clear with who is listed.

Please stop guessing and talking. There is not one poster in this thread that understands the current situation. Please leave it up to those that have been involved since the start. Thank you
