Re: livebarn @ merrimack

We are talking about 7/8 year old kids! No matter how much talking about right/wrong ... when and if they face a situation that may not seem “ right” they do not have the advanced cognitive ability to handle certain situations!!! No fault of their own it’s their brain development!!!! Give them a break!!!! They’re still too young!!!!
They’re only too young because you think they’re too young. Parents should be having conversations with kids at that age about a lot of things. Drugs, alcohol, tobacco use, sex etc.

Instead of wearing out the exclamation point key, read the SafeSport guidelines. They contain age-specific advice about the conversations parents should be having. THEY don’t think 7 and 8 year olds are too young.

But, you know better, don’t you, Karen.

Thanks Ritchie

Are they not allowing Livebarn? My kid plays there there tomorrow. They are not allowing parents in and no Livebarn? Ridiculous!!
King Dick has spoken. You will comply and you will like it.

Re: livebarn @ merrimack

With the spectator restrictions in place now the league should offer LiveBarn FREE. Especially with the fees they still charge parents.
Wake up league!

Re: livebarn @ merrimack

I would just settle for LiveBarn being turned on.

Re: livebarn @ merrimack

No reason for live barn not to be on. What are they trying to hide? Every rink should have live barn if your allowing
Just 1 parent! But in this case you can’t even see your kid at rink or on live barn! What a scam!

Parents have only themselves to blame. Didn’t follow the guidelines out of the box, that jeopardized the rink’s ability to remain open and not be fined, so they shut down the easiest way for someone to prove them guilty.

Re: livebarn @ merrimack

If parents are not allowed in there’s nothing to find so turn on live barn.

You donkey! Parents have never been able to go into Merrimack rinks. It's the call from the college. How can you blame parents who haven't been allowed in there you stupid head

Re: livebarn @ merrimack

Parents have alwasy been allowed prior to this season. It is University policy and there will be no spectators. There is no live barn at any college facility. Either shut up or don't go. As a parent you are responsible to determine what is safe or not safe for your child. Quit being a bunch of ********

Re: livebarn @ merrimack

Its not Merrimack who put the policy in place. Nice try though.

To clarify, it is no live barn that is policy not the spectator thing. It's an NCAA issue. Same with PVD at Schneider.

I doubt there's much sense in trying to help someone that would use the phrase "you stupid head."

Re: livebarn @ merrimack

No reason to not allow one parent per player into the rink for their 7 and 8 yr olds.

Re: livebarn @ merrimack

We need a class action against LiveBarn. They refuse to respond or credit account holders for services not received.

It’s not LiveBarn shutting down the cameras. It’s the rink themselves shutting down the camera, blame the rink owners 100% on this one.

But there is no reason for the fact that people were allowed even after covid to be able to attend without the protocols and there were none in place at the time especially once the season started. if they are not allowed to attend the parents should be able to without conflict to have some type of viewing even if it mean some type of stream that was provided by the rink or a coach that was able to set up a camera that would allow all parents of both teams to be able to watch their kid play. I think that this could be done without that much work or time that could take place to be put into it
