I guarantee there are some covert discussions going on with the creditors. Expect more delays until a deal is struck.
One of the larger issues is the main programs out of the rink (Giants/Hitmen) can't field enough teams to keep fully utilize the rinks. They have just enough to take all the prime ice times, but then what program will step in and fill the later slots?
Additonally, neither one of those programs has any mite teams as far as I can see. Look at the Giants for example. Plenty of midget teams. 2 teams at 07, 08 and 09, then just single teams for 10-12 birth years. Kind of tracking the way Lovells attempt with the Leafs went/is going, so unless they can find 20 kids at multiple birth years, the program has zero chance to grow.
What does the 95 Giants have to do with the rink not able to make money? They take 4:30 to 9:30 every single night then on top of around 12 hours of ice on weekends. The HITMEN and Pioneers take close to 16 hours a week the issue with the rink is simple Spring/Summer ice they try to get 300 an hour when the guys down the street are coaching 175-200 so why wouldn't tournaments want to go there? The next issue they have is the studio sheet instead of renting it out to skills companies where they are guaranteed money every week they would rather do own private lessons. Which would be fine but when you only have 1-2 KIDS on the ice your losing money as anyone with a brain knows they aren't charging themselves what a regular person would pay for the sheet.
Pretty sure the only thing keeping that place alive is the RR owning the Hitmen so all that profit is going back into the rink.
Word on the street is that the Raynham teams will be practicing out of Attleboro!
Why in the world would they leave Raynham and go to Attleboro.
