We are moving from Chicago to the Boston area in October. My 2010 son has been offered a contract to play for a team in the PHL. They have given us only a few days to respond. It looks like there are a bunch of leagues in the greater Boston area. The coach said the PHL is the same as most of them. If we don't take the offer will there be other spots available on teams when we arrive?
Don’t do it. The PHL is a low level club league. Tier 1 EHF is better.
Sign up for 09 town. Then latch on if good enough to ehf elite team as alt.
When is the parity!
Silver and lower gold are better then the Premier division? Lol
It’s a great league if you love driving 3-4 hours to play garbage hockey
It's similar to T1 EHF. My son's PHL team beat upper gold teams this past season, but got beat by Platinum teams in non league games.
If you like the coach, I would say go for it. At that age, the most important thing is the coach and how their practices translate into development. I would be a lot more concerned about that.
PHL is terrible. E9 or EHF platinum unless your kid is a stud and can play EHF elite
Fed Elite= America
E9 = Canada
Platinum = France
PHL = Yemen
Weird. My Kids plat team always seem to roll E9 teams that aren’t named BA.
Maybe BHL teams but your PHL team has never beat an E9 team. That’s like Sweden beating a crew of purple haired lesbos.
Elite post or Premier post? This is a PHL thread after all.
