I think we all can agree this group has come in hot. They bring a new level of insanity not seen since maybe the 07 parents. We have teams flying in alternates to play in tourney's, power play units, PK units, 7 day a week skating. Bravo- elite or die trying..

2014’s are stacked! Heard they scouts have been all over this group.

Why the need for an alternate at this level? Show up with your own team.

Because winning is more important than feelings. I'm trying to send a message to these 8 year old's. We can't win with you, I need to fly in better players. Also, we can't afford to drop in MHR rankings. If this happens we won't get any scouts at the games. This is club hockey- either you are elite or not.

The 2014 group isn't even on the MHR rankings yet

And yes some of them are doing things others haven't - they have parent managed Instagram accounts.

If they're skating 7 days a week I'd be curious to see the shape that their hips are in when they're in their 30s.

Settle down Francis, no need to get triggered. Having an older youth player gives us wisdom and experience. And yes we all know parents in all age groups. The 2014 group seems a little bit like know it all's.

Funny you mention him. Fantastic guy and coach. He's not in charge of the 2014 group nor is his input used. Why do you think he's in the stands most games? I wish all the players the best of luck with this great game. It's the parents that might ruin that ride-time will tell.

2014 parents are insufferable. Its the apex of the terrible/lazy/entitled millennial generation who are now parents and raising entitled kids who need to feel special. Worst generation ever spawning the next terrible generation.

I honestly have no idea why anyone would even have a 2014 player. Losers, every last one of them. Next time just use the pull and pray method and wait for a better birth year.

Unless your kid plays for jr bruins (which maybe they do or maybe whoever posted this made the 2nd team or no team) I don't know how anyone could know so much about the '14s as a whole. There's many teams of 2014s
