Mid season speed booster class hahahaha. Easy guy, don’t waste your money. Take a week off to rest and refuel and don’t get fomos. If diet is important to your kid try hitting 60% carbs, 20% fats, 20% proteins during the season. Up his calories by about 20%. Increase his sleep. Find your speed boost skating class over the off-season. You will thank me later.

If his stride is good I would spend majority of time focused on off ice training. Age appropriate stuff. Get as strong as you can in the off season, put on healthy muscle, create a strong core. Do these things along with spending money on at a couple good Skating clinics but speed will come from becoming a stronger athlete.
60/20/20 is insane.
My son made great progress at Real Speed before high school and Paul Vincent during high school. I would recommend both.
