Might only apply to u12 and down but they use cthockeyratings.com. I can't find the reference to tiering, but it's sometime like 1-8 , 9-20, 21-30, 31-42. Don't quote me.
if there are 12 bantams teams that declared for tier 2 and only 8 make tier 2 states do the other teams simply move down to tier 3? Thanks
yes the top 8 make tier 2 playoffs. the 4 that do not make it are grouped with all of the other teams and depending where they fall in the rating system, they can end up in tier 3 or 4 playoffs
