Bauer products are junk. True skates all day. No break in time. Lighter and more shot protection for the money.
My kid wears True. Comfy yes. Definitely not lighter and that's not an opinion. You can go look it up.
TF9 vs say a 3S Supreme I’d say the TF9 is lighter. Perhaps at the next level the Bauer is lighter? The puck protection in the True is def better. Bug issue with True is getting steel in a oinch can be a lain and those tendon guards drive me nuts.
