My mother, born in East Chicago, was born in 1921: Mother Cecilia Hart West and father William H West. West left my mother and grandmother in 1922 or 1923 and divorced. Fifty years later, he showed up on my mother\'s doorstep in Crown Point, Indiana, to try to explain why. He worked for Al Capone as a driver and bootlegger in a very violent time and didn\'t want them to be around all of that. I\'m seeking anything about him. Thank you.
