My friend maria and I are frequent tropic gig regularly. Lovely friendly place and great live music. Have danced to beached boys, endorphine, madness to name a few. Great times, long may it carry on

Danny and the Champions of the World. It was brilliant gig. Sad that ther was only 130 present to see them. I would like to see them at the Tropic again. By the Way Robert Elms on BBC Radio London is a great supporter of this bad. Try getting a plug in next time.

Sad to say I have booked a holiday starting Wednesday and will miss Danny and the champions of the world. I had the pleasure of seeing Danny at the Shepherds Bush O2 a couple of years ago supporting someone or other. He did a mighty fine acoustic set so I can only imagine what his full band lineup will sound like.I am GUTTED to be missing it .So if you have never heard them do yourselves a favour and get yer asses to the Tropic on Friday !!!
Oh Phil - yes please to Chicken Shack

Just to say we had a fantastic evening on Friday thanks to you and
the brilliant Alter Eagles. Such an accomplished band. My third time seeing them and our friends who travelled down from Leicester were completely blown away by them! Can\'t wait for them to be back in Ruislip again - well done Phillip.

We have seen many great tribute acts at the Tropic and the Altered Eagles were up with the best . Vocally and musically they were brilliant and if we closed our eyes it could have been as if we were watching the real Eagles.

We are grateful to have quality affordable live music on our doorstop

great venue, great bands and phils ok too even with the drummer jokes.
anyone that hasnt been is missing a fantastic night out. i used to got to tha half moon in putney until discovered Tropic around the corner. Acts ive seen at the half moon that would go down well at tropic...... James Walsh ( starsailor), Andy Mckee ( probably the greatest guitarist on the planet) and Don Ross and dare i say the legendary Roger Chapman.
good luck Phil, get em booked. Happy new year to you all

It may have taken three years for Philip to get Chantel McGregor down to the Tropic but is was well worth the wait. As well as being an extremely good guitarist, singer and songwriter she comes over as a very balanced young lady. The gig was superb from start to finish (Loved her version of Daydream) and I hope that she will return to the Tropic very soon. Her album \"Like No Other\" is superb and I look forward to her new album coming out in 2014.
