Was looking for pictures of my Dad Elton Taylor whom served in the Korean War. Dad has long passed, and finally found peace in the end. Although Dad came home physically from Korea, his mind was always on the battle field. Dad never spoke of his experience and never really spoke at all. Dad had frequent visits, snd stats at the V. A. in Chillicothe, Ohio and that’s where he passed. As a child, I never knew what the yelling in the middle of the night was about that awoke the entire household. I only knew that those experiences scared me because I didn’t understand. Not only do the people serving in the military suffer and struggle, but so do their families when faced with PTSD, and other ailments. Thank you to all who have served. I love and appreciate each, and every one of you! 💕 |
