thanks for the info guys. i hadn't thought about using 2, one horizontal and one vertical. that would be an easy addition.. just hook em on to my existing releases. and it would give enough separation to keep the line away from the flashers.

looking at the jim's flashers, they seem to be pretty reasonably priced. any particular colors work better than others? right now i'm thinking the black/silver to resemble the smelt.
